Job Description

Join a team creating memorable visitor experiences and engaging events. If you are looking to gain practical experience across campus activities and reporting, you could be our next Student Assistant in Østbirk.

Meet your future team

You will be part of the Visitor Experience & Employee Engagement team located in Østbirk. We are a small and collaborative team working together to ensure the smooth coordination of visits, events, and activities across the campus. We value engagement, good service, accuracy, and teamwork.

As our new Student Assistant, you will support us in creating great experiences for both guests and colleagues, while also contributing to reporting, data quality and communication tasks. We will support you as you take on more responsibility and develop your skills.

What we offer

As our Student Assistant, you will gain practical experience across two parts of the role. First, you will support visitor experiences, events, communication activities, and daily operations at the Østbirk campus. Second, you will support recurring reporting activities and help ensure that data is collected, checked, and presented accurately.

More specifically your tasks will be to:

  • Visitor and campus coordination: Support the planning and coordination of customer, partner, and colleague visits at LKR Innovation House and across the Østbirk campus.
  • Event and guest experience support: Help prepare and deliver events, meetings, tours, and employee engagement activities, including practical setup, participant information, and follow-up.
  • Campus communication and projects: Help with content uploads, invitations, presentations, communication activities, practical coordination, and other projects at LKR Innovation House and the Østbirk campus.
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting: Collect input from colleagues, update reporting files, and ensure agreed deadlines are met.
  • Excel-based reporting and data quality: Maintain spreadsheets, formulas, input sheets, and reporting overviews. Check figures and definitions, identify inconsistencies, and follow up with colleagues to ensure reporting data is accurate and complete.
  • Ad hoc support: Assist colleagues with structured administrative, communication, practical, and project tasks as needed.

This is an on-site role based at LKR Innovation House, approximately 15–20 minutes by car from Horsens and Skanderborg. You will work 16–24 hours per week, with flexibility around your studies and exam periods.

What you will bring into the organization

You enjoy supporting others, bring a service-oriented mindset, and help create positive experiences. You are also structured and comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, presentations, and recurring processes. You pay attention to detail, follow tasks through, and are capable of coordinating practical activities and contacting colleagues to collect or clarify input.

Moreover, we expect that you:

  • Are currently studying a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, for example within communication, marketing, hospitality, events, business, finance, or a related field.
  • Are organised and comfortable coordinating practical activities, participants, recurring tasks, and deadlines.
  • Have a welcoming and service-minded approach when interacting with guests and colleagues.
  • Are comfortable using Excel and working with formulas, structured datasets, and reporting templates, and have good PowerPoint skills to present data and key messages clearly.
  • Work accurately, manage agreed tasks through to completion, and are comfortable working both on your own and with colleagues across teams.
  • Contribute to both organized projects and day-to-day work and manage responsibilities from start to finish
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English and Danish.
