Assist the Technical Director in all aspects of theatrical production including set construction, lighting & sound and staffing for outside events using the Berman Family Performing Arts Center.
Education/Experience
Currently enrolled Stevenson University student in good standing with the University academically and judicially.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability
Know theatrical terminology
Familiar with hand and power tools
Previous experience with theatrical productions is a plus
Physical Requirements
Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Activity includes keyboarding, standing and/or sitting, walking, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, talking and hearing. Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing a computer terminal and reading printed materials. Subject to both environmental conditions; activities occur inside and outside.
Essential Functions
Assist the Technical Director on all performance aspects.
Staffing outside events held in the theatre.
Assist with box office during productions.
Reports To Professor, Theatre and Tech Dir & Mgr, BPAC
