
Students will evaluate and document the exhibition space at 72 5th Avenue. The install will occur in August with programming following in September. Deinstall will occur in September/October in which students will manage the repurposing of materials and reset for the spring '27 class objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluate and document the exhibition space at 72 5th Avenue.
Design in plan and in elevation the exhibition materials, based on materials produced during the spring 2026 academic year.
Adjust and finalize materials from the Spring 2026 Design IV studio (Design Workshop) in conformance with the exhibition space, design, and intent. These include completing the full-scale material studies, scale models, and 2d representations, texts, graphics, and quantifiable information.
Create final presentation boards and exhibition graphics as per design.
Move all materials from 25 E. 13th street for exhibition.
Organize, promote, and host an opening for the exhibition at a date TBD.
When completed, de-install exhibition, and re-purpose materials as per circular design guidelines developed by each team for their ADU prototypes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Participation in the Design IV Design Workshop studio or related graduate-level design studios in Spring 2026 which provides the framework, skills and knowledge to engage this work as outlined above.
