We are dedicated to bridging the gap between science and practice in the field of industrial production and offer application-oriented system solutions for the entire spectrum of industrial tasks – from product development to the production process, maintenance of capital goods, and recycling of products to the design and management of factory operations. In interdisciplinary teams, we are exploring new application fields for both traditional welding processes and modern beam welding processes, coating technologies, and additive manufacturing. By simulating welding processes as well as distortion and residual stresses, we support the rapid introduction of economical, energy-efficient processes in the industry. Our work is focused on designing the joining and coating of new materials and material combinations according to requirements, increasing the quality and reliability of joints and coatings, and improving processes regarding productivity, occupational safety, and environmental and resource conservation.

The remuneration is based on the overall company agreement for the employment of auxiliary staff.
The position is initially limited to one year.
The monthly working hours are negotiable between 60 or 80 hours.
