Job Description


As a Student Assistant in FP&A, you play a crucial role in supporting the finance team by maintaining financial planning and reporting infrastructure, assisting with delivering on stakeholder requests, and developing Power BI reports to enhance data visualization and decision-making.

Through the role, you will gain valuable insight into several areas of the finance function, including exposure to top management reporting and an understanding of the underlying data structures that drive financial outputs.

This position offers a strong introduction to core finance activities within a well-functioning C25 finance department and serves as an excellent stepping-stone for anyone interested in pursuing a future career in Business Controlling, FP&A, or similar finance roles.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Maintain and support the infrastructure related to financial planning and reporting systems
  • Assist in developing and optimizing Power BI reports for the Finance department and other stakeholders to improve reporting and data analysis
  • Assist in ensuring data accuracy and consistency in financial reporting systems, including securing that necessary controls are in place
  • Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis on request from different stakeholders in Finance

Qualifications & Skills

While it is not a requirement that you tick every box, the list below highlights some skills and qualifications that could come in handy in the position;

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field). Ideally on your 3rd year of your bachelor’s degree
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Experience or familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of financial planning and reporting concepts
  • Good skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • A proactive, can‑do attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Finance department

You will be based in Hellerup, Denmark, and report to the Head of Group Financial Planning & Analysis and be part of a global Finance team of 40 skilled finance professionals with high dedication.

As a group function, the Financial Planning & Analysis team is responsible for a wide range of activities that support the company’s financial steering—such as group wide planning processes, performance reporting, financial analysis, and planning & reporting platforms.
