Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities Your main duties will involve hands-on laboratory work in assisting other lab members perform the following vital laboratory procedures.
- Genotyping by polymerase chain reaction
- Protein detection assays (western blots and immunofluorescence)
- Histology
- Microscopy
Additional Responsibilities You will also be essential to our lab's organization and operations, including:
- assist maintaining clean and organized lab areas
- assist managing ordering and supply inventories
- assist maintain mouse colony
- updating spreadsheets and other lab documents
Expected Salary:
$15-$16 per hour based on experience and skills.
Required Qualifications:
Preferred:
- Interest in scientific career advancement or currently pursuing a science degree (not required)
- Prior lab experience
- Basic knowledge of genetics and cell biology
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment
- Ability to multi-task and self-organize
