The Career & Alumni Relations Assistant (CARA) is a student representative for DigiPen’s Office of Career and Alumni Relations, reporting to the Assistant Director of Career and Alumni Relations. This role is integral to supporting the team’s professional development initiatives for students and partnerships with employer guests. Thorough training will be provided.
This position will begin in Fall 2026 and conclude in Spring 2027. Work schedules will be modified each semester to accommodate the CARA’s class schedule. Reapplication may be considered at the conclusion of this term.

Expected number of hours per week: 6 - 10
Wage Range:
Wage ranges are based on Washington State’s minimum wage requirements; actual rate is determined by the number of terms worked for DigiPen

Conduct Expectations
As a student employee, you are upheld to the Student Code of Conduct standards listed in the Student Handbook. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Student Affairs. As a student employee, you are also a “Responsible Employee” meaning you are obligated to report any actual or potential Title IX incidents to your supervisor. Further training will be provided on these expectations. Performance of work will be evaluated at the conclusion of each semester. If needed, evaluation will begin with a performance improvement strategy and regular follow up on those determined action items.
Working Conditions:
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching; and fine finger dexterity. May need to lift up to 25 lbs. Generally, the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing.
