Student Assistant – AI Product Designer

We are looking for a Student Assistant to join our AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) in ROCKWOOL HQ in Hedehusene. We expect the student assistant to help us in building more user-friendly, intelligent AI products and deploy AI chatbots and agents across our organization.

The AI CoE has recently started a journey towards using more digitalization and automation and better use of data. From manufacturing & operations to commercial business such as finance and marketing, we employ AI in various parts of our global organization. As we build and deploy AI products to our 12000+ colleagues around the world, it is important that the products are useable and are easily fitting into current workflows – this is where your abilities come into play.

What you will be doing:

As a Student Assistant at the AI CoE , you will wear multiple hats:

UI/UX Design & Product Design: Actively involved in creating intuitive and visually appealing designs and web interfaces for AI products. Utilize design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and InDesign to craft wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes. Develop interactive and clickable prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and ensure seamless user experience. Play a crucial role in defining the look and feel of our AI products.

AI Chatbot & Agent Development: Build AI chatbots and intelligent agents using no-code platforms. Design conversational flows and user journeys for AI-powered assistants. Test and iterate on chatbot responses to ensure quality interactions

Prompt Engineering & AI Configuration: Craft and refine prompts to optimize AI model outputs for specific use cases. Experiment with different prompt structures, personas, and instructions to improve chatbot performance. Document prompt libraries and best practices for the team. Collaborate with AI/ML team members to test and validate model behavior. Fine-tune AI agent behavior to match business requirements and user expectations.

What you bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a relevant field such as Information systems, Design Thinking, UI/UX, etc. with at least 1 year left in your program
  • Experience with tools such as Figma, Adobe XD and/or InDesign. You should be able to show a portfolio containing a few designs/wireframes/mockups that you have made as part of previous student job, internship and/or university project.
  • We are an international team, and our primary language is English, therefore we prefer that you can communicate fluently in English.
  • As a person, you are ambitious, diverse thinking, like to share knowledge, curious and always looking to challenge the status quo.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary:
  • Bachelor students: 160 DKK/hour
  • Master students: 175 DKK/hour
  • Transportation allowance: 1000 DKK/month
