As part of our project with the start-up TestBlu, we are looking for a Student Assistant in AI Operations to support software development, infrastructure, and AI operations ensuring reliable integration from laboratory outputs to AI-driven interpretation within the CaniSense diagnostic workflow. Be part of change

• Develop and maintain internal software tools, scripts, and automation pipelines
• Build and optimize data pipelines connecting sequencing outputs to AI models
• Automate AI model deployment, monitoring, and versioning
• Support IT infrastructure and cloud-based environments
• Improve workflow automation and system scalability
• Ensure stable integration between laboratory processes and AI interpretation layer
• Document systems, processes, and deployment workflows

What you contribute

Required Qualifications

• Enrolled Master student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, AI, or related field
• Strong programming skills (Python required; additional languages beneficial)
• Experience with workflow automation and pipeline development
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, such as Gitlab
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and basic DevOps principles
• Structured and solution-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with data security and healthcare-related data handling
• Familiarity with Jira, and its advanced features for workflow automation and pipeline development

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.

The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
