Job Description
Provide clerical and analytic support to administrative personnel in a busy academic unit. Tasks may include:
- Prepare and distribute forms for data collection
- Conduct targeted research using online databases and social media sites
- Enter data and track information over time
- Organize and archive digital files
- Clean data & perform basic data management tasks (e.g., merging data across files)
- Summarize data (e.g., counts & percentages)
- Create basic data visualizations (figures, graphs)
- Draft, format, and revise documents and presentation materials
- Generate and update procedural documentation
Pay rate: $13.50 - $16.00/hr., depending on skills and experience.
Qualifications
Education: High school education required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite and GoogleSuite (mainly word processing and spreadsheets).
- Ability to work semi-independently with moderate supervision.
- Good organizational skills and demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to summarize and communicate information clearly and accurately.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality when working with sensitive data (e.g., student records).
- Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with faculty, staff, and students.
- Ability to meet consistent attendance.
