Job Description

If you have an interest in communications, media relations, and branding, and are looking to join a global company within the MedTech industry, we may have the role for you!

We're looking for a student assistant to join our Media Relations & Corporate Content team - a team within our Global Communications, Branding & Design function.

The job
At Coloplast, we develop products and services that make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs. The Media Relations & Corporate Content team plays a key role in ensuring that our many internal and external stakeholders worldwide are continuously reminded of the difference we make in our users' lives as well as what we stand for as a company. We make this happen through a number of different communication activities, and as our new student assistant, your tasks will include:

• Writing and publishing stories on our company intranet and LinkedIn
• Supporting activities related to media and PR
• Supporting the development and execution of visual content for internal and external communications
• Assisting in the maintenance of various brand assets and keeping our brand portal up to date
• Helping to coordinate internal events and campaign activities
• And much, much more!

You will be part of a supportive and fun team, where collaboration and shared ideas are a natural part of the daily workflow. At the same time, you will have the freedom to take ownership from day one – making this role perfect for someone who can work proactively, enjoys responsibility and is confident in asking for input when needed.

The position is 15-20 hours per week, and we pay a competitive student salary.

Qualifications
We expect you to be studying a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably within communications. You have a natural interest in different communication disciplines but, more importantly, you're eager to learn about the stuff that you don't already know. Finally, you enjoy interacting with different cultures and being part of an international company. This also means that you speak and write English at a high level, as our corporate language is English.

About Coloplast

Coloplast develops products and services to make life easier for people with deeply personal and private medical conditions. These conditions are often associated with trauma and taboo. The more intimate the condition, the greater the requirement to come closer to customers, understand their world and develop solutions that are sensitive to their special needs. We call this intimate healthcare.

Closeness to all customers makes this possible. We listen to better understand needs and respond by finding new ways to do things better together. We lead the way by bringing the best ideas first and fast to market in the form of medical devices and service solutions.

Deeply private and personal medical conditions are our focus. Our passion to make a real difference to people’s lives is what drives and unites us. Our culture supports high ambitions and releases the full potential of our own people to achieve them.

Our business includes Ostomy Care, Continence Care, Advanced Wound Care, Interventional Urology and Voice & Respiratory Care. We operate globally, employing more than 16,500 people.
