Job Description

The Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) is looking for a student to serve as a part-time office assistant. This student will support all MSTP office staff, reporting to the Director of Administrative Operations.

Projects may include:

  • Scan documents, archive files, and enter data
  • Pack and mail promotional materials
  • Set up program events and arrange catering when needed
  • Update and maintain website
  • Deliver paperwork to campus offices
  • Other office projects as needed

The office assistant requires 8-15 hours/week commitment for Summer 2026.

Work hours are typically within the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Pay is $12.35/hour.

Qualifications

Critical thinker who can work independently with a strong attention to detail; High degree of organization and accuracy; able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times, and self-motivated and willing to learn. Requires knowledge in both Microsoft Suite and GSuite, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Gmail, Google Spreadsheets.
