Job Description

General Function:

  • Provide general assistance as determined by the department.

Duties of Position:

  • Provides high quality customer service: Greets visitors, answers telephone calls, and provides accurate information as appropriate.
  • Schedules and maintains appointments in scheduling software to facilitate 24/7 access to advising and orientation appointments in the student portal.
  • Delivers individual and group orientation presentations.
  • Guides students on campus tours and My Harper portal tours.
  • Assists with call campaigns.

Education Requirements To apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three for summer).

Experience Requirements The successful candidate must be able to maintain the confidentiality of the department.

Schedule Information Will determine schedule based on the student’s availability Must have some availability to work during the following hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:00-7:00 pm, Friday: 8:00-4:30 pm. and two Saturday mornings during final registration week.

Total Hours 20 per week.
