miles East of the Palatine campus **

Schedule Information: The LCC has long regular open hours (see below); student worker schedules are determined individually based on course schedule and LCC shift coverage needs:

Duties of Position:

• Greets and assists Harper College Learning and Career Center students, employees, and the public. Provides excellent customer service to all site users. Answers phones; assists with applications; accesses multiple information systems for operations support; assists with events and programs including the LCC food pantry; and works with a variety of staff for special projects as needed to support faculty, students, and the community.
• Multilingual students (especially speakers of Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian, and other high-frequency world languages) are an asset, but languages are not a requirement of the job. An inclusive attitude, comfort with learning new technology, and excellent customer service orientation is key.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. is required, as is the ability to push heavier wheeled items.
