HNTB is seeking an industry-best Structures Department Manager to lead and grow our bridge and structures practice across Northern New England. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a high-performing team of professionals across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont; strengthen key client relationships; and deliver some of the region's most significant bridge and transportation projects. As part of HNTB's nationwide bridges practice, you will have access to the resources, technical depth, and support of one of the industry's leading infrastructure firms while helping drive local growth, strategy, and project delivery.
Our cultural foundation is rooted in client service—quality work, on time, on budget, to the client’s satisfaction. HNTB delivers impactful, complex, and challenging projects in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, including serving as owner's representative on Vermont's most significant bridge replacement of the decade—connecting the towns of Burlington and Winooski; designing the innovative vertical-lift Portsmouth Memorial Bridge in New Hampshire; and the award-winning Madawaska-Edmunston International and Blue Hill Falls Bridges in Maine. Beyond Northern New England, you will collaborate with a nationwide practice of bridge engineers and professionals from other disciplines to deliver some of the most iconic and innovative structures in our country’s history.
HNTB has shaped the built environment with distinct expertise across a full spectrum of infrastructure solutions since 1914. We are the largest employee-owned transportation engineering firm in the country, but we do not merge with or acquire other firms. HNTB has grown to over 7,000 employee-owners one person at a time. From renowned architecture and complex bridges to efficient highways and digital infrastructure solutions, our collaborative approach and commitment to technical excellence drive us to build a better future for our clients, communities, and ourselves. Come join our team and help build the next generation of infrastructure.
