Job Description

Enfinity Global is seeking an experienced Structured Finance Manager to support the structuring, execution, and management of project financings across its global renewable energy portfolio.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in Enfinity Global Japan securing and managing project-level debt and financing solutions while partnering closely with Development, M&A, Legal, Asset Management, Engineering, and external lenders and advisors for digital, solar, and BESS assets.

Key Responsibilities

Project Financing Execution

• Lead the execution of non-recourse and limited-recourse project financings for solar, storage, and other renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate due diligence processes with lenders, investors, technical advisors, legal counsel, insurance advisors, and independent engineers.
• Manage financing processes from term sheet negotiation through financial close.
• Support refinancing, restructuring, and optimization initiatives across operational assets.

Financial Modeling & Analysis

• Develop, review, and maintain project finance models used for debt sizing, transaction structuring, valuation, and investment decisions.
• Perform scenario, sensitivity, and downside analyses to support financing strategies.
• Assess project economics and financing alternatives throughout project development and construction phases.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary finance contact at Enfinity Global Japan with domestic banks, institutional lenders, export credit agencies, multilaterals, and financial advisors.
• Prepare and present financing materials for lenders, investment committees, and executive leadership.
• Negotiate financing documentation in coordination with internal and external legal teams.

Portfolio Financing Strategy

• Support the development and implementation of financing strategies across different markets and technologies.
• Monitor debt covenant compliance and financing obligations throughout the lifecycle of financed projects.
• Track market developments, financing structures, and lender appetite to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree, MBA, or CFA designation is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in Japan in project finance, infrastructure finance, structured finance, renewable energy finance, investment banking, or a related field.
• Strong experience executing project financings within the renewable energy, infrastructure, power, or energy sectors.
• Advanced financial modeling skills with expertise in project finance modeling.
• Demonstrated experience working with Japanese banks, lenders, investors, and transaction advisors.
• Strong understanding of debt structures, financing agreements, and project finance documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience financing solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), wind, or other renewable energy assets.
• Exposure to multiple international markets and cross-border transactions.
• Knowledge of private placements, green financing instruments, and structured lending solutions.
