TheStructuralEngineer (Contract)isresponsibletoplanandconductindependentworkrequiringjudgmentintheevaluation,selection, applicationandadaptation of engineeringtechniques,proceduresandcriteria.

DutiesandResponsibilities:

• Performstructuraldesignandanalysiscalculationsusinggoverningcodesandstandards,engineeringformulas,skills,andexperience.

• ProvidedrawingfordesignsandproducesketchestoincorporateindrawingsbyDesigners/Drafters

• Researchdesignoptionsanddocumentfindingsforprojectleadengineer

• Coordinatework withotherdisciplinessuchasmechanicalandelectrical

• Usecomputer-assistedengineeringanddesignsoftwareandequipmenttoprepareengineeringdesigndocuments

• Readandunderstandbuildingcodes,constructionspecificationsanddrawings

• PromptlyreportanycriticalriskstotheHigherups.

SkillsandExperience:

• GraduatepreferablyPostGraduatequalificationinStructuralCivilEngineering

• Overtwotothreeyearsofexperiencewithadvanceknowledgeinciviland/orstructuralengineering

• ExperienceinMNC'sinPower,Oil&Gas,Material&Mineralbeneficiationindustriesisdesirable

• Stronganalytical,problem solvingandcommunicationskills.

• Knowledgeofcivil/structuraldesignstandards(ACI,AISC,ASCE,EURO,BS,ASCODE)

• Highlevelof workingknowledgeinStaadprolatestversion

• Knowledgeofconnectiondesignsoftware’ssuchasLimcon,Masterseries&RamconnectionwillbeaddedAdvantage

• Shouldbe opentovisitClientProjectsiteacrosstheglobe, asand whenneedarises.

• Excellentattentiontodetail

• Mustbeabletoworkcrossfunctionallywithteammembersatalllevelsacrossmultipledepartmentsinvolvedindifferentprojects.
