Must be willing to work overtime and pass a 3G structural weld test. Chart’s experienced welders play a key role in the manufacturing process of producing Air Cooled Heat Exchangers.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

WORKING CONDITIONS:

· Must be able to work inside and outside

REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHILE IN THE SHOPS:

· Safety Glasses

· Safety Steel Toe Boots

· Face Shield when grinding

· Hard Hat when using jib cranes and overhead cranes

· Long sleeve shirt or welding sleeves

· Long Pants

· Welding Gloves

· Ear Plugs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Walking

· Standing

· Using hands

· Bending

· Lifting

· Sitting

Your Experience Should Be...

REQUIREMENTS - MUST BE ABLE TO DO THE FOLLOWING:

· Ability to pass the 3G structural welding test

· Ability and willingness to learn from co-workers in order to achieve welder 2 qualifications

· Ability to pass the 1GF Canadian welding test after four (4) weeks

· Ability to use measuring tape

Minimum Education:

High school diploma or GED

Minimum Experience:

Minimum 6 mos in a fast paced manufacturing enviroment

Skills Required (i.e. certifications, licenses, registrations, etc.):

Certifications, licenses, registrations helpful but not required
