Job Description

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specifications
• Complete layout, fitting, and assembly of structural steel components.
• Measure, mark, align, and position steel according to job requirements.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including a track torch
• Check dimensions and ensure components meet required specifications.
• Inspect finished work for quality, accuracy, and compliance.
• Work with supervisors and other team members to meet production schedules.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, organized, and productive.

Qualifications

Previous experience with structural steel fitting, layout, or fabrication
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Hands-on experience fitting and assembling structural steel components.
Ability to set up and operate a track torch
Working knowledge of welding processes, fabrication equipment, and shop tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Willingness to follow established safety procedures.
AWS or other welding certifications are a plus.
