Overview:
Our client is a leading regional engineering consultancy serving Barbados, the wider Caribbean, and international markets. Due to continued growth, they are seeking to add an experienced professional to their team.
This position is ideal for a highly motivated Structural Drafting Technician with advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural drafting, who can contribute to the successful delivery of a wide range of engineering projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with engineers while independently managing drafting assignments to ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Prepare detailed, accurate, and comprehensive construction drawings, supporting projects from initial concept through to final construction.
• Develop, organize, and maintain complete drawing packages and project documentation with minimal supervision.
• Ensure compliance with established drafting standards, company procedures, and project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate and review drafting work completed by other technicians to maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality.
• Provide technical drafting support and guidance throughout all phases of project execution.
• Maintain current and accurate internal and client-issued drawings in accordance with the company's document control standards.
