Position Title: Structural Engineer - Facade

Reporting to: Chief Structural Engineer/Project Manager

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Structural Engineer - Facade to join our team at Meraki Group In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and enhancing facade systems while ensuring that they meet both aesthetic and structural integrity requirements. As part of our innovative engineering team, you will collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams to deliver exceptional building facades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze facade structures using appropriate software and methodologies.
• Conduct structural assessment and feasibility studies for facade systems.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to integrate facade designs into the overall building concept.
• Prepare detailed calculations, design reports, and documentation for approvals.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Work closely with the construction team to resolve onsite issues and provide technical support.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure proper installation of facade systems.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to design reviews and problem-solving sessions.
• Stay updated on facade engineering trends, materials, and sustainable practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in facade engineering or structural design.
• Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE) and CAD tools.
• Ability to perform hand calculations and detailed structural assessments.
• Strong knowledge of materials used in facade construction and relevant regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with BIM software (e.g., Revit) is a plus.
