Job Description

Structural Engineer
Location: Appleton, WI, Milwaukee, WI or Madison, WI (Hybrid)
Company:
The Boldt Company – Boldt Design
Anticipated Salary Range:
$90,290 - $118,110

At Boldt, we build more than complex projects—we build strong relationships, great teams, and lasting impact. When you join our team, you’re not just designing structures—you’re partnering with owners, architects, and construction teams to deliver thoughtful, lasting solutions that create real value.

As a Structural Engineer, you’ll play a key role in leading and delivering full‑range structural design services across healthcare, institutional, commercial, and industrial/manufacturing markets. You’ll provide technical leadership while collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to guide projects from concept through construction. This role is ideal for an engineer who combines strong design expertise with an eye for detail, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to understand and support the owner’s perspective.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of structural systems and designs—developing calculations, construction drawings, specifications, and documentation for design and design‑build projects. You’ll serve as an in‑house technical resource, support proposal development, manage design budgets and schedules, and field‑verify existing conditions at job sites. Throughout each project, you’ll work side‑by‑side with architects, project teams, and construction partners to develop creative, code‑compliant, and constructible solutions that carry projects from inception to completion.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,290 - $118,110 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
