PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • Managing CAD activities
  • Performing 3D detailed design of Carbody Shell structure
  • Performing 2D design of primary parts and assemblies
  • Managing subcontrating or work done in Shared Engineering Center

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Performance Measurement/KPI’s

  • Installation lead time delivery after complete reception of P phase 3D
  • Respect of DMU classification rules
  • Quality of deliverables (first time right)

Responsibilities

Accountable and responsible for: (activities that cannot be delegated to N-1 in the operational org. chart - CAD)- Managing CAD activities

  • Ensuring interface with subcontractors

Accountable for: (can be done by the MDE or delegated to CAD)

  • 3D Detailed design of structural parts considering

-- Allocated volumes given as inputs

-- Interfaces defined with stakeholders

-- Load cases

-- Technical referential (materials characteristics, ECA constraints,...)

-- Manufacturability constraints

  • 2D or annotated 3D Detailed design of structural parts considering internal rules of data structuration

Contributes to

  • Providing weight data to Weight Discipline Engineer
  • Calculation optimization with Structural Integrity Discipline Engineer
  • Dimensional management activity (A is MLE (CBS impact only) or TOL-LE (train level impact))

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

Educational Requirements & Experience

Mandatory:

  • Graduated from Mechanical Engineering school with Master of Science degree

Desirable:

None

Experience

Mandatory:

  • Mechanical Engineering preferably applied to Railway products with 1 to 2 years of experience

Desirable:

  • 3D Modelling, drawing creation
  • Design in heavy industry
  • Concurrent Engineering

  • Italian basics in read/writing and technical meetings

Salary Range 33.800 € - 45.000 €
