Structural Design Engineer

Robust Consulting Engineers has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Structural Design Engineer/Technologist This permanent position is based in Evander, Mpumalanga.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of structural infrastructure projects and the infrastructure element in multi-disciplinary projects.
• Adherence to the Integrated Management System protocols and procedures
• Conducting site inspections
• Attending site meetings on behalf of the Project Leader
• Meet with clients on behalf of the Project Leader
• Manage and oversee draughtsman and support staff in projects

Skills

• Engineering design software i.e., Prokon, Robot structural analysis etc.,
• 3D draughting softwares i.e., Autodesk products
• Strong communication skills
• Teamworking
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, good time management skills

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 4 Years Design experience
• Minimum 5 Years overall experience

Qualifications

• BSc/B-Eng. in Civil Engineering
• B Tech in Civil Engineering (Structural)
