If you are interested in applying broad Mechanical Engineering principles in the structural design, analysis and certification of jet engines rotating components. The team works in a dynamic environment and collaborates with a wide network of specialists. Our responsibilities extend across the lifecycle of the product: from preliminary and detailed design, through validation & verification, certification, and all the way to field engine support.
This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours in Mississauga, and is exclusively on-site.
What will your day-to-day look like?
Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPT)
Utilize state-of-the-art analytical tools/methods to validate the structural integrity and durability of Compressor Rotating hardware
Build 2D/3D thermal and structural finite element models of compressor rotors
Use in-house and commercial software to perform various analyses such as:
Fatigue analysis (LCF / HCF)
Fracture mechanics
Impact analysis – ice, bird
Rotor burst assessment
R&D to support the next generation of technologies and methods
Quality note disposition and Engineering source approvals
Support Production and Field operations

The salary range for this role is 54,000 CAD - 93,150 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
