Job Description

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is recognized as one of the highest-performing neurological care and stroke centers in the US. As the only academic medical center in New Hampshire, we pride ourselves on providing the most innovative neurological care and research. Our neurology team helps individuals and families through our multidisciplinary team approach, including physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, and a full array of support services.

We are looking for an experienced PA/NP to join our stroke team at our main campus in Lebanon, NH. This position will provide both inpatient and outpatient stroke care.

About the Role:

  • Full-time with no nights or call
  • Provide care to individuals and families suffering from stroke and other cerebrovascular diseases in both the inpatient and ambulatory settings.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of APPs, attendings, medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College
  • Opportunities for additional teaching, research/QI, and stroke program growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA academic program
  • National specialty certification
  • Eligible for RN licensure in the State of NH (APRN only)
  • Eligible for APRN or PA licensure in the State of NH
  • Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
  • At least two years of experience, preferably in neurology
