Our team provides quality workmanship and outstanding service to our customers who are represented by public utilities, government agencies, general contractors, and businesses.

We take great pride in the service and quality of work we provide to our customers and are searching for a dedicated and motivated Striper/Laborer to join our Lacey team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Lifts, carries, loads and unloads construction supplies including pavement marking supplies, signs, etc. to and from flatbeds both manually and with the use of equipment.
• Prepares, cleans, and sweeps the work area as needed, including setting up jobsite with signs, cones, and materials; breaks down construction site at end of job.
• Layout parking stalls, handicapped zones, crosswalks, arrows, and other markings.
• Operates a variety of equipment to place pavement marking material on the pavement; operates the grinder to remove old lines and pavement markings.
• Installs markings; applies and removes temporary and permanent markings.
• Installs signs, wheel stops, and epoxy on asphalt or concrete when necessary.
• Performs flagging duties as needed.
• Cleans and maintains trucks and equipment, cleans grinders and paint machines.
• Cross trains in various activities for asphalt and concrete patching.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations and practices preventive safety measures; wears required PPE.

The ideal Striper/Laborer will have the following:

• Knowledge and use of motorized equipment and basic maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of road and traffic regulations.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work weekends and occasional nights.
• Ability to travel to various worksites.
• Ability to work long hours and in all weather conditions.
