You will also support technical development of others and help drive quality, delivery, and continuous improvement across analysis activities.

  • Lead the analysis, assessment, and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and in compliance with business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements
  • Apply mechanical engineering principles, material behavior knowledge, and understanding of gas turbine operating environments to support component design, validation, and in-service assessments
  • Perform and guide stress and life analyses of static structures and rotating engine components, including nonlinear assessments involving frictional contacts, preloads, thermal gradients, and pressure loads
  • Provide technical direction and mentoring to less experienced engineers in stress and lifing methods, tools, and best practices
  • Prepare, review, and present technical data and substantiation to internal and external customers
  • Document, communicate, and ensure the technical quality of analysis results and recommendations
