Job Description

We are working closely with a local authority in Cambridgeshire to assist with the appointment of a Street Works Scheduler, on a 6-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £26.79- £37.00 per hour

Summary:

The Street Works Scheduler will be responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring Streetworks and highway activities associated with the Winter Readiness Project. The postholder will manage work schedules, Streetworks permits, notices and associated documentation, ensuring works are planned and delivered efficiently, within agreed timescales and in accordance with relevant Streetworks requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate Streetworks and highway activities for the Winter Readiness Project.
  • Develop and maintain work programmes and Whereabouts to ensure teams, resources and equipment are available when required.
  • Submit, manage and monitor Streetworks permits, TTRNs, notices and associated documentation as required.
  • Ensure planned works comply with relevant Streetworks requirements and applicable procedures.
  • Monitor permit and scheduling information and follow up outstanding actions where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • No specific formal qualification is stated as essential in the supplied job information.
  • Good general IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Willingness to undertake relevant Streetworks training where required.

Essentials:

  • Experience of coordinating schedules, programmes or operational activities.
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
  • Experience of maintaining accurate records and working to strict deadlines.
