
Street Maintenance Worker
Department: Street Reports to: Street Supervisor
Under basic supervision, performs a variety of basic labor tasks to maintain streets, roadways and City infrastructure for the Public Works Department (PWD); operates vehicles, equipment and tools in compliance with all safety regulations and standard procedures

Physical demands and working environment: Work is performed indoors, outdoors and at City facilities; requires constant physical efforts, and the ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift objects; may be exposed to safety hazards and dangerous tools and equipment; safety precautions must be followed, including use of safety equipment. City approved safety shoes must be worn.

License and certification requirements Must possess a Texas Driver's license and a Texas Class B CDL is required but if hired without one will be given the opportunity to obtain within one (1) year of employment.
