Take ownership of a key business unit with full accountability for the commercial performance, strategy, and profitability of BT’s Street portfolio.

In this high-impact leadership role, you'll drive revenue growth, cost optimisation, and long-term value across the Street furniture estate, including Phone Boxes and Street Hubs. You'll lead the commercial management of a major £22m contract, acting as the senior relationship owner for a key customer and ensuring strong governance, delivery, and partnership development.

You'll also lead a multidisciplinary team spanning commercial, product, and technical functions, overseeing everything from supplier management and operational delivery to regulatory and Ofcom obligations.

This is a rare opportunity to run an end-to-end business area, with exposure to financial performance, contract strategy, customer relationships, supplier ecosystems, and operational execution—offering real ownership and accountability for a complete business unit.

What you’ll be doing

Strategy & P&L

  • Support the strategic direction and transformation of the Street business
  • Track market trends and competitor activity to inform decisions
  • Shape and challenge commercial decisions across the Phone Box and Kiosk estate

Commercial & Contract Management

  • Lead management of a key £22m contract, ensuring performance, compliance, and value delivery
  • Own governance, KPIs, and contractual obligations
  • Identify and manage risks, opportunities, and contract changes, including renewals and RFPs

Customer & Supplier Relationships

  • Act as senior relationship lead for a key customer, building a strong, high-performing partnership
  • Lead governance forums and ongoing engagement cycles
  • Manage key supplier relationships across the Street estate

Leadership

  • Lead and develop a cross-functional team (6 total, including 3 direct reports)
  • Set direction, priorities, and performance standards
  • Build a collaborative, high-performing culture aligned to BT values
  • Coach and develop team capability and career growth

The skills you’ll need

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L performance and making investment-led decisions

  • Proven track record in managing complex, high-value contracts, including negotiation with customers and suppliers

  • Ability to build and sustain senior-level customer relationships as a trusted commercial partner

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving performance across commercial, technical, and operational functions
