Job Description

The Strategy Program Leader is an experienced strategic leader who independently leads large-scale, end-to-end, global, cross-functional projects that shape enterprise direction. This role owns complex analysis and synthesis of data across business units and geographies, translating ambiguous, high-stakes problems into clear, well-reasoned recommendations for senior leadership and executive stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings 12+ years of experience and deep, recognized expertise in one or more specialized domains (e.g., supply chain, global/China markets, analytics, or AI strategy), and operates as a trusted advisor to senior leadership with minimal oversight.

Areas of Expertise
o Serve as a recognized subject-matter expert in one or more strategic domains, such as supply chain, global/China markets, analytics, or AI strategy.
o Bring deep, specialized knowledge that senior leadership relies on to shape enterprise-wide strategic direction in these areas.
o Stay ahead of emerging developments within areas of expertise and proactively advise leadership on implications and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Analysis & Insight Leadership

  • Independently lead complex, multi-market analyses of trends, competitive dynamics, and performance, synthesizing findings into recommendations for senior and executive leadership.
  • Own the development of enterprise-level financial models, dashboards, and scenario analyses that inform major strategic and investment decisions.
  • Lead the synthesis of large, ambiguous, cross-functional data sets into decision-ready insights and recommendations for the executive team.

Global Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Direct primary and secondary research across global markets on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory shifts.
  • Lead competitive benchmarking and identify whitespace opportunities at an enterprise and global scale.
  • Own market assessments and scenario planning that inform multi-year enterprise strategy.
  • Serve as a recognized expert on MedTech innovation, M&A activity, and global policy developments, including in key regions such as China.

Executive Strategic Communication

  • Develop and deliver board- and executive-level presentations, strategy narratives, and briefing materials that shape senior leadership decisions.
  • Partner directly with the VP of Strategy and senior executives in preparing and facilitating executive strategy reviews.
  • Set the standard for clarity, logic, and impact across all strategic deliverables enterprise-wide.

Global Program & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Independently lead large, end-to-end, global, cross-functional projects spanning Commercial, Finance, R&D, and Operations, from framing through execution.
  • Own project governance from initiation to completion, proactively identifying and resolving complex, cross-organizational risks and bottlenecks with minimal oversight.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and executive stakeholder communications for enterprise-critical, global initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or related leadership and functional roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools, with a track record of using them to influence executive decisions.
  • Deep proficiency with Gen-AI tools and statistical packages, with the ability to serve as an internal expert in analytics and AI strategy.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and intellectual rigor, with the judgment to operate independently at the executive level.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous, matrixed global environment.
  • Experience in MedTech, healthcare, or life sciences strongly preferred.

For
U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $224,000.00-$336,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
