Job Description

The Strategy Planning Manager is responsible for driving the organization’s strategic planning and performance management processes. The role provides analytical and decision-support insights through financial modelling, forecasting, and business analysis to guide corporate strategy and resource allocation. It ensures alignment between strategic objectives and operational execution, supports management and Board decision-making, and contributes to the achievement of the company’s long-term growth and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities:

Develop advanced financial models and conduct comprehensive analyses encompassing historical and operational performance, forecasting, industry benchmarking, and fleet-related economic assessments to inform strategic and investment decisions.
Deliver high-quality, insightful reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity, relevance, and alignment with corporate objectives.
Review and validate Board Papers and other strategic submissions to ensure analytical rigor, accuracy, and consistency with business goals and corporate direction.
Prepare and manage confidential correspondence, executive reports, and meeting documentation with professionalism and attention to detail.
Lead or support special projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to the achievement of strategic and operational priorities within the division.
Drive collaboration and continuous improvement within the department to enhance analytical capabilities and overall business performance.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Strategic Management, Accountancy, Mathematics, Statistics with 3 years work experience at Executive level in financial management, strategic planning, business analysis, economic analysis, management accounting, data analytics, forecasting, or other disciplines directly related to the qualification obtained.
Or
Full professional qualification equivalent to a degree [Member/passed finalist of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka)/ Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (CIMA UK)/ Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)] with 3 years experience at Executive level in financial management, strategic planning, business analysis, economic analysis, management accounting, data analytics, forecasting, or other disciplines directly related to the qualification obtained.

Age to be not more than 40 years as at 13th July 2026 which is the closing date.

Be a Sri Lankan Citizen.

Employment will be offered on fixed term contract.
