PwC Bulgaria is looking for a Strategy & Operations Senior Associate or Junior Manager to join our Energy, Utilities and Resources consulting practice in South East Europe.

Whatyou’lldo

• Support business development activities with focus on Bulgarian market toidentifynew business opportunities in power & utilities, renewables, oil & gas,resourcesand other related sub-sectors

• Participate in or co‑lead the development of winning proposalsbystructuring clear storylines, contributing strong technical inputs, shaping solutions aligned with client needs, and supporting pursuits with clients across Bulgaria and other SEE markets, including public institutions, international organizations, vertically integrated companies, and specialized energy players

• Build relationship with Client’s team and management

• Independently structure and manage project work‑streams or smaller project modules-conducting high‑quality analyses, developing clear insights, ensuringtimelyand high‑quality deliverables, and coordinating effectively with teams acrossSouth EastEurope and the wider PwC network

• Closely workwith ourSouth EastEurope energy consulting teams, as well as our international teams in CEE and EMEA region

• Present findings and recommendations confidently during client meetings and discussions, ensuring clarity andstrong communication

• Participate in the global PwC network to share knowledge and provide a truly global perspective for our clients

• Support the development of others through mentoring and coaching

What we expect from you

• 3-5years of relevant experience in energy, utilities, renewables, trading, oil & gas, or related sub‑sectors;managementconsulting experience is an advantage

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently conduct structured analysis,identifykey findings, and formulate clear recommendations

• Demonstrated ability to manage your own work and, forJunior Managertrack, oversee small work‑streams or junior team members

• Well-developedunderstanding of energy‑transition topics

• Confident communication skillswithability to lead or contribute to interviews, present to clients, and engage in structured problem‑solving discussions

• Proactive, collaborative team player able to work in demanding, fast‑paced environments and adapt quickly to new topics

• University education with master’s degree in business or technical field (MBA and/or PhD is a plus)

• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English and Bulgarian, in both speaking and writing

• Open to travel on project basis
