RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy & Business Planning

  • Support BU Head in defining mid- to long-term BU strategy and annual business plans
  • Lead strategic analysis, business insights and performance tracking
  • Interpret global strategy into actionable China plans

Operations & Execution Governance

  • Establish BU governance frameworks, including planning cadence, KPI and review mechanisms
  • Track execution progress and drive accountability across functions
  • Identify risks and drive mitigation actions

Cross-functional & Cross-market Alignment

  • Drive collaboration across commercial, medical, access and other key functions
  • Serve as key interface with global stakeholders, ensuring clear articulation of China insights
  • Facilitate alignment between China, IBU and other global teams

Strategic Initiatives & Project Leadership

  • Lead key BU strategic initiatives and transformation projects
  • Ensure alignment of priorities and resource allocation
  • Support critical decision-making through data-driven insights

Lead or Support Strategic Priorities as Required

QUALIFICATIONS

Level of Education

Master’s degree or above

Working Experience in Relevant Field

15+ years pharmaceutical experience, with exposure to strategy, marketing or BU operations

Professional Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong strategic thinking and structured problem solving
  • Proven ability to operate in a global matrix organization
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong data-driven mindset
  • Fluent English; cross-cultural experience
  • Strong business orientation, good business acumen and ability to think out of box utilizing science to create competitive advantage.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
