Zayo is seeking amotivated,detail-orientedStrategy & Operations Associateto join our Commercial Strategy & Operations team in a part time capacity (20 hours per week).This is an entry-level role focused on supporting the executionof the Commercial organization’scadenceand contributing to keystrategicand operationalinitiatives

In this role,you will build foundational skills in business operations, data analysis,and cross functional collaboration while gaining exposure to how strategicdecisions are developed and executed. This position is designed forearly-career individuals whoareeager to learn,take ownership of assigned tasks, anddevelopintofuture strategyandoperationsprofessionals.

This is a part time position - 20 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Commercial Operations Management

• Support the coordinationofrecurringCommercial operating cadence (e.g., staff meeting, business reviews, etc.),preparingagendas,organizingmaterials, andtrackingfollow-ups

• Assist inimprovingmeetingprocessand internalworkflows toincrease efficiency and consistency.

• Maintain documentation ofaction items,key decisions,and meetingoutputs toensurevisibilityandaccountability.

StrategicInitiative Management

• Support the creation and maintenance ofprojectplans,timelines,and status updates for Commercialinitiatives

• Coordinate acrosscross-functional partners(e.g., Product, Sales, Marketing) to gather inputsand trackprogress against deliverables

• Assistingthedocumentingprocesses, tracking KPIs, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Data Analysis &Reporting

• Maintainand updatedashboardsandreoccurringreports, ensuringdata accuracyandtimeliness

• Conduct basic data analysis toidentifytrends and support decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree(completed orin progress)in Business, Economics, Finance,orrelatedfield.

• Zero to two (0-2)years of professional experience; internship or co-op experience in consulting, finance, operations, or a fast-paced business environment.

• Proficiencyin Excel —formulas, pivot tables, andbasicdataanalysis.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Strongorganizationalskills and attention to detail.

• Willing tolearn, takeinitiative, ask good questions, and follow throughonassigned work

• Strong organizational skills and attention todetail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or project experience in consulting, operations, finance, or relatedfield

• Exposuredata visualization tools(e.g.TableauorPowerBI)

• Experience supporting presentations, reports, and structured analyses

• Interestinbusiness strategy, operations, and problem-solving

Estimated Base Pay Range: $22.36-$34.42 USD/hour.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
