About the role

FUJIFILM’s Biotech business in the Copenhagen area is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Strategy & Leadership Associate to support our Vice President and leadership team. This role is ideal for a newly graduated candidate or early-career professional eager to build a strong foundation in executive support, operations, and finance within a high-impact biotech environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Support in setting the strategic agenda with the leadership team
    • Partner with the VP to plan annual/quarterly priorities and KPIs
    • Prepare content and facilitate leadership offsites, town halls, and strategic reviews
    • Consolidate inputs, synthesize insights, and draft decision-ready materials
    • Drive and track strategic initiatives, risks, and dependencies; maintain dashboards and KPIs in our Data Center (Obeya Room)
    • Coordinate follow-ups to ensure accountability, cadence, and cross-functional alignment
  • Finance support
    • Assist with budget tracking, forecasts, and monthly reporting in Excel
    • Consolidate data, build dashboards, and maintain trackers to support decision-making
    • Coordinate with Finance on approvals, accruals, and documentation
    • Support in building and planning area budgets and set financial KPIs
  • Executive support
    • Complex calendar and priority management for the VP; gatekeeping and preparation for meetings
    • Agenda setting, briefing materials, minutes, and action tracking for leadership meetings
    • Coordination across cross-functional stakeholders and global counterparts
  • Meetings, events, and travel
    • Plan and execute onsite meetings, town halls, and workshops
    • Arrange domestic and international travel and itineraries; manage visas and logistics
    • Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations and meeting packs
  • Communication and stakeholder management
    • Draft internal communications, summaries, and follow-ups on behalf of the VP
    • Serve as a point of contact for internal/external partners with professionalism and discretion

Qualifications

  • Education: B.Sc. minimum, M.Sc. preferred in Business Administration, Economics/Finance, or a relevant Science discipline
  • Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience or relevant student assistant experience
  • Technical skills:
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, lookups, charting) and Data analytics
    • Comfortable learning new tools; foundational knowledge of AI productivity tools is a plus
    • Knowledge (or strong interest) in the Biotech industry is a must
  • Core competencies:
    • Strong organization, prioritization, and follow-through in a fast-paced setting
    • Excellent written and verbal communication; high attention to detail and quality
    • High level of discretion and professionalism working with sensitive information
    • Ability to work independently and not afraid to reach out to stakeholder and seek information in the organization
    • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with genuine interest in finance and business operations
  • Language: Proficiency in English; Danish proficiency is a plus
