Eight Advisory was founded in 2009 in France by 8 former partners of Arthur Andersen / Big4 companies as a firm specialized in Transaction Services, Restructuring, and Transformation. Together with the Eight International Network, counting over 650 employees in more than 20 countries, we respond to a growing demand for financial advice from private equity firms, medium- and large-sized corporates, and investment banks.
We are currently looking for an ambitious individual to join our Strategy team in Cologne as an Intern.
As an Intern, you will:
Collaborate in an exclusive environment to assess, plan, conceptualize, and implement M&A deals (e.g., carve-outs, integrations, joint ventures) and other complex business transformations (e.g., reorganizations, value creation) for national and global corporate and private equity clients
Work closely with partners and directors, gaining direct responsibility on projects and learning from their extensive buy- and sell-side M&A experience
Receive continuous support from a dedicated mentor for professional and personal development

To ensure that we find the best candidate for this position, we expect the following from our future intern:
Pursuing a Master's degree in economics, engineering, science, business administration, or business economics from a top tier university or business school with excellent grades
Motivated, proactive, and reliable
Strong problem-solving skills and creativity
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Fluent in German and English
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Financial and analytical skills are a plus
Available for a minimum 3-month internship
Previous internship or work experience in a related field is a plus
