Strategy Executive- Business Transformation

What does a great Strategy Executive - Business Transformation do?

As a Strategy Executive - Business Transformation, you will frame priority business problems and drive transformation initiatives from solution design through execution.

Work on Fiserv’s biggest priorities alongside its senior-most leaders. Own high-impact initiatives end to end, learn from exceptional peers, and help shape the future of the business.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, transformation execution, stakeholder alignment, business operations, and leadership decision support. You will partner with senior business owners across finance, technology, operations, risk, and related functions to shape practical initiatives and ensure movement toward defined outcomes.

This is a Business-Facing Transformation role at the intersection of strategy, advanced analytics, performance management and execution. You will help structure business problems, generate data-driven insights, quantify opportunities, develop business cases and translate recommendations into practical implementation plans.

The ideal candidate brings strong consulting, strategy, transformation, or business operations experience, with executive communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional work in ambiguous environments.

What You'll Do

Problem Framing & Strategic Solutioning

• Define and structure priority business problems across core transformation themes.
• Conduct structured analysis to identify root causes, improvement areas, business impact, and strategic options.
• Shape practical solution paths and translate them into executable initiatives, roadmaps, and business cases.

Stakeholder Alignment & Cross-Functional Execution

• Align business owners across finance, technology, operations, risk, product, and related functions.
• Facilitate working sessions, leadership discussions, and decision forums to drive clarity and ownership.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies, governance routines, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communications.

Transformation Follow-Through & Impact Tracking

• Track progress against initiative plans, surface blockers, and drive accountability toward outcomes.
• Measure business impact, document benefits, and prepare executive updates for leadership reviews.
• Support strategic planning, operating model improvement, integration initiatives, and transformation programs.

What you will need to have:

• 4-7 years of experience in consulting, strategy, transformation, business operations, or related functions.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional influencing skills.
• Ability to structure ambiguous business problems and translate them into actionable plans.
• Experience driving initiatives from problem definition and solution design through execution follow-through.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills with experience producing leadership-ready materials.
• People management and team handling experience, including leading project teams, managing workstreams, and guiding cross-functional contributors.
• Ability to manage team priorities, drive accountability, mentor team members, and ensure timely execution of transformation initiatives.

Experience That Would Be Great to Have

• Experience in billing transformation, payments, AI, location strategy, integrations, or back-book conversion.
• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, financial services, consulting, or technology organizations.
• Exposure to transformation governance, operating model design, business case development, and benefits tracking.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in fast-paced, data-driven, and matrixed environments.
