As the category continues to evolve rapidly, driven by digitization and artificial intelligence, we are looking for a Director Oral Health Care Strategy & Transformation to help leapfrog the business into its next phase of growth.
Your role:
As Director Oral Health Care Strategy & Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the long-term strategic direction and transformation agenda of one of Philips Personal Health’s most critical businesses. You will act as a trusted partner to senior Oral Health Care leadership, defining strategic priorities, driving enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, and leading the AI transformation within the Oral Health Care business. This role blends strategic clarity with hands-on execution, turning bold ambition into scalable impact.
Set the Oral Health Care Strategy
Define and drive the overall strategy for the Oral Health Care business, aligned with Philips’ purpose, growth ambitions, and Personal Health priorities.
Lead strategic deep-dives on portfolio choices, innovation priorities, and long-term category evolution.
Translate strategic ambition into clear, outcome-driven roadmaps with measurable business impact.
Lead Strategy Execution and Transformation
Drive the end-to-end strategy execution and transformation agenda for Oral Health Care.
Ensure strategic priorities are embedded in operational, financial, and regional plans.
Partner closely with Finance, R&D, Marketing, Commercial, and Digital teams to align resources and execution.
Track progress, define success metrics, and course-correct where needed.
Drive AI and Digital Transformation
Define and lead the AI transformation roadmap for the Oral Health Care business, in close collaboration with Digital, Data, and Technology teams.
Identify high-impact AI use cases across the value chain, including innovation, personalization, demand forecasting, marketing, and commercial excellence.
Build and scale AI-enabled programs that can fundamentally leapfrog the business in growth, efficiency, and consumer experience.
Ensure responsible, scalable, and value-driven deployment of AI capabilities.
Enable Leapfrog Growth Opportunities
Identify and support high-impact organic and inorganic growth opportunities, including new business models and partnerships.
Support geographical expansion and transformation initiatives in collaboration with regions and markets.
Bring an external perspective on emerging technologies, competitors, and ecosystem developments.
Enable Insight-Driven Leadership
Continuously synthesize insights on consumers, markets, competition, and technology trends.
Enable active portfolio management through data-driven recommendations.
Act as a strategic thought partner and sparring partner to senior Oral Health Care and Personal Health leadership.
Collaborate Across Philips
Partner closely with other Strategy and Transformation leaders across Personal Health and Group Strategy.
Foster strong relationships with global, regional, and functional stakeholders.
Contribute to enterprise-wide strategic and AI transformation initiatives where relevant.
You're the right fit if:
10+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, or business leadership, including experience in top-tier strategy consulting (e.g., BCG, Bain, McKinsey) and/or senior roles within leading Consumer, Consumer Health, or HealthTech companies.
Proven experience leading large-scale strategy and transformation programs in complex, multinational organizations.
Demonstrated experience driving AI or advanced digital transformations, including building programs that materially change business performance.
Strong understanding of AI, data-driven business models, and digital ecosystems.
Track record of identifying and scaling leapfrog initiatives that deliver sustainable competitive advantage.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
Strategic, analytical, and outcome-oriented mindset combined with strong communication skills.
Agility, resilience, and a growth mindset.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
