The Health Industry & Enterprise (I&E) practice at Accenture Strategy & Consulting (S&C) Global Network (GN) is seeking Consultants to join Providers offerings, wherein they will be supporting health systems (hospitals) projects across Americas, EMEA and APAC. Consultants work across structured workstreams within the engagement lifecycle supporting requirements gathering, process documentation, solution design, testing, and go-live activities.

Engagements span revenue cycle transformation, supply chain operations, care management, utilization management, clinical documentation, and enterprise services optimization requiring consultants to lead workstream delivery, structure and execute analyses, develop process redesign recommendations, and produce client-ready deliverables with limited oversight. This is a delivery-focused role suited to candidates with established healthcare provider domain expertise who can drive rigorous, independently produced work product.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support delivery of provider operations engagements across back office and middle office workstreams, including revenue cycle, care management, supply chain, and enterprise services
• Participate in requirements gathering workshops and assist in documenting functional and technical needs for provider technology solutions
• Draft and maintain BRDs, process documentation, and configuration workbooks under the guidance of managers
• Execute UAT test scripts, document defects, and support defect triage across RCM, care management, and supply chain implementations
• Conduct structured data analysis to identify operational performance gaps and support client recommendation development
• Prepare clear, well-structured slides and analytical outputs for internal team review and, with guidance, for client-facing presentations
• Contribute to go-live readiness activities including training material preparation, readiness checklists, and command center support
• Build foundational relationships with day-to-day client counterparts across finance, operations, and clinical teams
• Support team members in preparing executive-level deliverables, transformation roadmaps, and business case components

PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

• MBA or postgraduate degree from a Tier 1 institution is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Mandatory: Advanced level of English
• Availability to travel may be required.

EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of work experience post MBA, with at least 1–2 years in a healthcare provider or health system context in a consulting, operations, or analytics capacity
• Prior exposure to provider operations, revenue cycle, care management, or related healthcare functions is a differentiating factor
• Consulting firm or in-house strategy/operations experience in a healthcare setting is preferred

MUST HAVE SKILLS

Market and Domain Experience

• Foundational understanding of US healthcare provider business models, including how health systems generate and manage revenue, deliver patient care, and operate back-office and clinical support functions
• Working knowledge of at least one of the following areas: revenue cycle operations (patient access, coding, billing, collections), clinical care delivery support (utilization management, care coordination, care management), or supply chain and enterprise services transformation
• Familiarity with key healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, CMS billing requirements, and payer-provider contracting dynamics

Functional Capabilities

• Requirements gathering support: ability to participate in stakeholder workshops, document current-state processes, and translate operational inputs into structured functional requirements
• Business Requirements Document (BRD) contribution: drafting process flows, use cases, and functional specifications with team review and oversight
• UAT support: executing test scripts, logging defects, and tracking resolution across healthcare technology implementations
• Data analysis and reporting: ability to structure, analyze, and present operational and financial data in support of client deliverables
• PowerPoint and Excel proficiency at a level appropriate for client-ready deliverable production

GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS

• Hands-on experience building or working with AI tools, project experience related to provider healthcare operations, public health, health policy, or a related field
• Exposure to Epic or other major EHR or RCM platforms in a professional or academic context
• Familiarity with value-based care models and their operational implications for providers
• Awareness of Agile or structured project delivery methodologies
• Exposure to process improvement frameworks such as Lean or Six Sigma in a healthcare setting
