In this position...

The Chief of Staff is a pivotal, strategic, and deeply operational leadership role. This individual acts as a trusted advisor to the Chief Strategy Officer, ensuring focus and alignment to move the organization forward and execute on strategic priorities. Success demands rigorous project management, astute process thinking, and strong leadership to navigate challenges and influence outcomes.

We are seeking a dynamic leader with a profound understanding of strategy development and a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in matrixed organizations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate superior capabilities in end-to-end project management, a keen ability to analyze and optimize operational processes, and exceptional interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders and lead initiatives effectively.

What you'll do...

  • Governance / Management Systems: Ensure effective governance of all major Corporate Strategy strategic initiatives; including scope definition, resource allocation, content development, management review cadence, and all corporate requirements for Board and executive-level reviews
  • Executive Communication & Presentation Prepare compelling presentations and materials for critical forums, including board meetings and other executive-level meetings; manage and facilitate key internal reviews (Strategy SAR, Internal Content Reviews, All Hands, etc.)
  • Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement across the Strategy organization by identifying bottlenecks, driving operational improvements, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity. Ensure the organization has all the tools and resources to be effective
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Facilitate collaboration and foster strong relationships across all levels of the organization, including other executive business offices, to ensure seamless execution of strategic priorities.
  • Performance Measurement & Decision Support: Develop and track strategic objectives and KPIs, providing data-driven insights and reporting for the Chief Strategy Officer
  • Project Management: Orchestrate and drive the successful execution of projects that cut across the three teams in Corporate Strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals
  • Financial Management & Controls: Develop annual budgets (cost and headcount) and support monthly forecast, including accrual process. Lead annual cost deep-dive and MCRP process

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, engineering, or a related analytical field
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in a global, matrixed organization (finance, consulting, or operations is desirable)
  • Outstanding verbal and written executive-level communication.
  • Proactive, anticipatory, and adept at navigating fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking and capability

  • Strategy development and/or project management experience within the automotive industry and/or complex multinational corporation is desirable
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Proven collaborative abilities and teamwork across cross-functional teams
  • Experience working closely with leaders at all levels, including senior executives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely

This position is leadership level 5 and ranges from $141,700-$268,300.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
