To achieve this, a transparent and consistent WB Global roadmap has been designed and delivered, making the Transformation Management function a critical enabler for our Wholesale Banking Growth Strategy and (digital) transformation.

WB Transformation office

The WB Transformation Office has around 200 colleagues and brings together a range of roles related to digitalisation, delivery, regulatory compliance, customer data and capital deployment. The team brings consistency to these topics across the Wholesale Bank, covering all business lines. The purpose of the WB Transformation Office is to accelerate the delivery of customer-centric, data-driven, digital products and services and maximize value from change investments and capital.

The Head of Transformation EMEA supports the WB Chief Transformation Officer with defining and executing the transformation strategy, as it applies to EMEA, to accelerate the realization of Wholesale Banking’s strategic vision.

Transformation EMEA undertakes extensive stakeholder management to ensure full engagement on the key transformation activities across the region, working across the full spectrum of the matrix and countries. The aim is to build full oversight of all EMEA-related activity incorporating qualitative and quantitative data to highlight challenges and opportunities, costs, and resultant value – both in terms of financial performance and strategic progress. Transformation EMEA is also a key contact point for each of the EMEA countries, representing their requirements and challenges centrally, and working with the countries so they understand the principles of WB strategic direction. Together with the CIO EMEA and COO EMEA, the Head of Transformation EMEA is also targeted with building a more cohesive and connected Delivery infrastructure across the region.

Transformation EMEA is directly involved in projects that relate to Target Operating Models and organizational design as there is an ongoing desire to standardize, digitalize and centralize activity across the network, whilst retaining the country-specific capabilities and obligations where optimal.

The Transformation EMEA Manager will support in all aspects of the work on the strategic and operational agenda. The role reports into the Head of Transformation EMEA.

Your key responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Head of Transformation EMEA, contributing to global initiatives, business management tasks, and governance activities across the region.
  • Support in the execution and reporting of the EMEA Strategy KPIs, including KPI setting, ongoing execution, coordination of monthly and quarterly updates, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting in dashboards.
  • Identification of and improvements to ways of working across EMEA, translating nto concrete transformation projects (e.g., enhancing governance processes, improving regional communication,…)
  • Manage and maintain workinprogress reporting, ensuring all country initiatives and deliverables are tracked and updated within agreed deadlines (knowledge of ServiceNow PPM is an advantage but not essential)
  • Engage effectively with senior stakeholders across EMEA, building strong working relationships to facilitate smooth execution of initiatives and grow a robust personal stakeholder network, to accurately and appropriately represent Transformation EMEA and our strategy and activity.
  • Lead assigned projects under supervision, delivering activities that contribute measurable value to Transformation EMEA, such as communication initiatives or process improvements.
  • Prepare highquality presentations and documentation, including PowerPoint presentations, Word reports, Excel analyses and PowerBI dashboards to support communication and decision‑making.

Profile

  • Degree-educated
  • Minimum 18 months in WB, i.e. ITP completed
  • Base knowledge of WB, Transformation and delivery plus the banking and commercial environment
  • Proficient at Powerpoint, Excel and Word – additional knowledge of PowerBI advantageous
  • Keen interest in communication and transformation topics
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence with new experiences and people
  • Proactive, curious and willing to take responsibility to see tasks through to effective closure
  • Collaborative and a strong team player
