Leidos is seeking a university student to join our team as a Strategy & Process Intern In this role, the intern will help support work related to organizational goals, progress tracking, and project visibility across multiple teams. The intern will assist in organizing information, tracking tasks and follow-ups, and turning discussions and ideas into clear documents and action plans. This role also provides an opportunity to use AI tools such as ChatGPT to help summarize information, generate ideas, and improve how work is organized and documented. This internship is ideal for students who enjoy organizing complex information, improving processes, and helping teams stay aligned and focused on outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Help organize and track goals, key results, and related projects so teams can see progress and priorities
Track tasks, notes, and follow-ups using tools such as Jira, Planner, or similar collaboration platforms
Turn meeting notes, discussions, and AI-generated ideas into clear summaries, documents, and action lists
Help maintain simple trackers, checklists, or dashboards that keep work organized and visible
Identify missing information, open questions, or follow-up items and help the team capture them
Use AI tools such as ChatGPT to help analyze information, summarize discussions, and generate drafts of documents
Assist with improving how information, tasks, and processes are organized across workstreams
Support small experiments or prototypes that explore better ways to organize information or track progress
Basic Qualifications:
Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university
US citizenship required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to clearly summarize information and communicate ideas in writing
Interest in business operations, technology, strategy, or process improvement
Familiarity with basic productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Comfortable learning new tools and experimenting with AI tools such as ChatGPT
Preferred Qualifications:
Major in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Systems, Business Analytics, Operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Experience organizing academic projects, research, or teamwork using structured tools or task trackers
Interest in how organizations track goals, measure progress, and manage projects
Curiosity about how AI tools can improve productivity, analysis, and documentation
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take initiative when identifying gaps or opportunities for improvement

Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
