Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in a management consulting, operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital or private equity role, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • 2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience in marketing and how marketing capabilities come together to drive impact.
  • Ability to drive the development of product area, function, or sub-function strategies, working with leadership to develop and prioritize initiatives.
  • Ability to support executives in defining communications strategy across the function and regions, overseeing the planning of internal events and aligning internal communications.
  • Ability to synthesize, understand, and drive recommendations regarding trends in the future of work with AI, including designing business strategy and translating market insights into action, shortening of planning cycles, transforming digital and agile development, and tapping into partners.

About the job

Be a key member of the core team that sets the strategy and direction for Google Marketing across our full range of Platforms and Devices products. The Strategy and Operations team is made up of business thinkers who work closely with Google’s Platforms and Devices Marketing and Product leadership to innovate and set global strategy and drive business growth.

As a part of Platforms and Devices Marketing’s Strategy and Operations team, you will engage regularly with Google’s Marketing leadership team to establish Platforms and Devices Marketing’s strategic direction, getting broad exposure to our entire business, including Android, Play, Chrome Browser, Chromebooks and others. You will work with teams across Google geographies and collaborate cross-functionally with key leaders across Marketing, Product, Finance, Business Development and People Operations to solve our challenges, drive high priority projects, and achieve operational excellence within platform and ecosystem marketing. In this role, you will become a trusted source of advice and an essential partner to executives across a range of our key products.

In this role, you will be someone with strong business acumen and operational aptitude as well as exceptional people/communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with Googlers of all levels. You will have a hypothesis-driven approach to problem solving, strong quantitative skills, and comfort addressing broad-reaching and ambiguous questions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage the annual and quarterly planning cycles for Chromebooks and other parts of Android ecosystem.
  • Ensure budget and people are mapped to the highest-priorities.
  • Establish clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting structures to measure impact.
  • Drive adoption of AI to scale productivity and unlock smarter workflows.
