In this role, you will support strategy development for Medline International. You will own projects that drive Medline’s expansion into new channels and geographies.
This position plays a pivotal role in supporting both organic and inorganic growth for Medline International - developing strategic insights, ensuring analytical rigor and establishing best‑in‑class processes for investment decisions.
You will also support M&A activities by conducting focused assessments that strengthen business cases and help build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
The role offers significant exposure to Medline International and EMEA leadership, along with the opportunity to drive Medline’s growth into new markets and channels.
Lead new‑market opportunity assessments for Medline International: Take a strategic view on new opportunities for Medline International through market attractiveness analysis and assessment on Medline’s Right to Win, leveraging Medline’s strategy and strengths.
Conduct market and channel intelligence, build robust models to ascertain opportunity and market size (TAM/SAM/SOM).
Identify market trends, customer behaviors, unmet needs, and growth opportunities.
Drive channel and market segmentation: develop deep understanding of country‑specific dynamics while identifying regional patterns and opportunities.
Lead data collection, consolidation, and analysis. Execute market analysis through primary research and data gathering. Partner with market and product leaders to build credible databases and robust analyses.
Support International Strategy Development by turning coherent and persuasive storylines into robust analyses and presentations for senior leadership.
Drive channel and market segmentation: develop deep understanding of country‑specific dynamics while identifying regional patterns and opportunities.
Become a true partner to International and EMEA leadership. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, fostering collaboration and accountability across locations.
Effectively manage strategic ad‑hoc requests from International and EMEA leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; advanced finance degree or MBA preferred.
10+ years of experience in top‑tier strategy consulting, investment banking or a similar analytical environment.
Strong understanding of strategic frameworks, financial metrics, operational KPIs and analytical toolkits.
High proficiency in advanced modeling, business‑case development, market assessment, M&A, integration, investments, and organizational growth.
Proven experience supporting or driving strategic decision‑making, goal‑setting processes, business‑improvement initiatives, and cross‑functional collaboration within international teams.
Strong communication skills (English required; additional European languages are a plus).
Willingness to travel for business, primarily within Europe.
One‑year contract, with the expectation of a permanent contract upon successful completion.
