#AboutYourRole
As a Consultant in our S&BD Life Science & Health Care team, you will engage with senior executives in the life sciences and healthcare industry, to develop innovative strategies and transformation plans that address their most pressing challenges.

Typically, our Life Sciences and Health Care projects are centered around five topics:

  1. Pricing, Evidence and (market) access
  2. (Commercial) strategy design and execution
  3. Research and Development
  4. Market Research and Analytics
  5. Policy to strategy, assessing the strategic implications of global, regional and local policies

This role will mainly cover the analytical projects delivered by our S&BD Life Science & Health Care team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work with (senior) project members to develop hypotheses and work out plans that address project objectives, typically to support clients in determining their strategies and defining the right set of initiatives and projects to execute these strategies effectively.
  • Engaging in high-quality discussions with clients, demonstrating creativity and knowledge in pharma, MedTech, health economics, market access and pricing.
  • Gather and analyze relevant information via stakeholder interviews, data analysis, benchmarking information and translate those into valuable insights.

Utilizing strong analytical and modelling skills to develop insightful analyses that inform client decision-making. Including but not limited to:

  • Strong analytical and modeling skills, proficient in tools and methodologies used in health economics and pricing analysis, such as Excel, TreeAge, SAS, STATA, or R.
  • Experience in developing (health economic) models, meta-analyses, and/or analyzing real-world evidence. Familiarity with Quality Adjusted Life Years (QALYs), Incremental Cost-Effectiveness Ratios (ICERs), and other Health Economics and Outcome Research metrics.
  • Proven track record in dealing with different types of market access and pricing challenges, covering both price strategy & price execution such as International Reference Pricing (IRP) and Launch Sequence Optimization (LSO) and Gross to Net (GtN) optimisations. Other pricing techniques, including but not limited to conjoint, MCDA, analog research, regression models, forecasting models, and econometric analyses to guide pricing strategies
  • Familiarity with global and local market access environments, reimbursement processes, and payer requirements.
  • Creation of sections and/or entire reports, presentations, workshops, and other client deliverables.
  • Communicate analysis and recommendations in both written and oral communication with internal and client stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in business development and thought leadership activities to support the growth of our Life Sciences and Health Care practice and enhance our industry footprint.

We embed analytics and dashboard as standard enablers and provide our clients with toolkits to realize their ambitions.


#OurRequirements

Passion and knowledge and understanding of the Life Sciences and/or health care industry; first experience in the sector or knowledge of market access strategies, health economics modeling and pricing frameworks is a huge plus.

• Master's degree or MBA in Business, Economics, or a scientific/medical/health economics field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with data analysis and modelling (e.g., Excel-based models; familiarity with tools such as R, SAS, STATA or similar is a plus).
• Ability to interpret health economics concepts (e.g., QALYs, ICERs) and analyze real-world evidence or market access/pricing data.
• Understanding of market access and pricing environments, including exposure to techniques such as forecasting, regression analyses or international pricing concepts (e.g., IRP, LSO, GtN optimisation).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights to senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience or strong interest in the Life Sciences & Healthcare industry and motivation to work with leading global clients.
• Familiarity with analytics dashboards or toolkit-based client enablement is considered a plus.
