About Us – Fan Focused. Results Driven
Gemba is a leading organisation in Sports and Entertainment across Communications, Insights, Strategy and Data & Analytics.
Gemba’s name is inspired by the Japanese origins of the word, to find the source of the truth. Since 2006 we have demonstrated a passion for understanding fans. In a sport and entertainment world that is becoming increasingly competitive and fragmented, fan insight is critical.
We deliver results for our clients. Whether it be better commercial outcomes or driving greater participation, this is our ultimate proof point, demonstration of shaping a better future for sport & entertainment.
About the Role
We are looking for a Strategist to join our Melbourne team on a full-time basis.
This role sits at the centre of strategy, creativity and client work, helping shape how brands, rights holders and entertainment properties connect with audiences through campaigns, partnerships, experiences and content.
You'll work across a diverse range of sport and entertainment projects, contributing strategic thinking from brief through to delivery. From audience and market insights through to campaign planning, partnership strategy, social and creator integration, you'll help ensure our work is culturally relevant, commercially effective and audience-led.
You'll collaborate closely with strategists, creatives, producers and client teams to develop ideas that work across experiences, content, social, partnerships and broader marketing channels.
While this is a broad strategy role, experience in social, digital, creator or cultural marketing is highly valued, helping ensure our thinking reflects how audiences engage with brands today.
