At Freddie Mac, our mission of Making Home Possible is what motivates us, and it’s at the core of everything we do. Since our charter in 1970, we have made home possible for more than 90 million families across the country. Join an organization where your work contributes to a greater purpose.

Position Overview:

The Technology and Operations team within the Multifamily division is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Transformation Professional to join our dynamic innovation team, with a primary focus on Generative AI (GenAI) initiatives. This role serves as the primary driver of GenAI business use cases from intake through testing, working directly with business partners to define requirements, perform prompt engineering, develop lightweight prototypes, create user stories and acceptance criteria, execute testing, and recommend solutions for production implementation. The position combines business analysis, AI experimentation, stakeholder engagement, and solution validation skills to accelerate enterprise AI adoption and value realization.

Our Impact:

Be at the forefront of GenAI innovation, shaping the future of our organization and industry. You’ll have the opportunity to support transformative projects, influence strategic direction, and make a lasting impact.

Your Impact:

  • Lead Generative AI (GenAI) use cases through the full delivery lifecycle, from business intake and requirements gathering through solution evaluation, testing, and recommendation for production deployment.
  • Partner directly with business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand business challenges, define success criteria, document requirements, and translate needs into actionable AI solutions.
  • Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements that enable effective solution design, testing, and implementation.
  • Design, execute, and document testing strategies, including test plans, test cases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and evaluation methodologies to assess solution quality, accuracy, and business value.
  • Create and refine prompts, prompt libraries, and evaluation frameworks to optimize GenAI model performance and ensure consistent, repeatable outcomes.
  • Develop lightweight prototypes and proofs of concept using low-code, no-code, or AI-enabled development tools to validate business value and support stakeholder decision-making.
  • Facilitate workshops, demonstrations, and working sessions with business partners to gather feedback, identify improvement opportunities, and drive adoption of AI-powered solutions.
  • Analyze testing results and user feedback to identify gaps, recommend enhancements, and support go/no-go decisions for production deployment.
  • Collaborate with technology, data, risk, legal, and governance teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, controls, and responsible AI practices.
  • Produce decision-ready documentation, including use case assessments, business value analyses, testing reports, implementation recommendations, and executive-level status updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in innovation or technology-driven roles, preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GenAI technologies, prompt engineering, and their business applications, preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately and timely on projects with specific and measurable due dates and goals.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Keys to Success in this Role:

  • Continuous Learning: Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and staying current with the latest advancements in AI, GenAI, and technology trends, especially those impacting real estate finance.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to identify high-impact GenAI use cases and contribute to the development and execution of a clear, actionable GenAI roadmap.
  • Effective Collaboration: Build strong relationships and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business units to drive GenAI initiatives forward.
  • Prompt Engineering Excellence: Provide valuable support in prompt engineering and maintain a well organized, effective prompt library to maximize GenAI model performance.
  • Communication: Clearly articulate complex concepts, project updates, and GenAI opportunities to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment by embracing change, overcoming challenges, and continuously seeking improvement.
