The Strategic Student Success Initiatives Director provides leadership for the coordination, implementation, and assessment of collegewide student success initiatives that advance student access, belonging, well-being, persistence, completion, and post-completion success. Reporting to the Associate Senior Vice President for Student Success and Strategic Initiatives, the Director develops and leads strategic initiatives focused on basic needs, mental health, parenting students, and other student populations with unique needs while supporting project management and assessment efforts.
Working collaboratively with institutional leadership, Academic Affairs, Counseling and Advising, Institutional Research and Effectiveness, Student Life and community partners, the Director ensures that student support initiatives align with the College's strategic plan, enrollment priorities, and student success goals. The Director also develops and provides leadership for strategic partnerships, grant-supported initiatives, and assessment activities that strengthen the College's capacity to support students holistically.
This is a full-time, non-bargaining, exempt, Grade 33 position. A typical work schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening or weekend flex hours. The primary work location is the College’s Central Services location in Rockville, MD. This position is eligible for telework up to one (1) day per week, based on operational needs and following the successful completion of the probationary period.

Hiring Range: Initial salary placement for new hires typically falls between the minimum and midpoint of the range ($88,876 - $122,205), annually and is based on relevant candidate experience and internal equity. The maximum salary for this position is $155,534 annually.
